Geocaching Event
CNE stands for Culture and Nature Event. BvVeen is the founder and has asked for help from Tedonus, Flash! and Pc_Queen in designing and organizing the event.
This year (2023) is all about the culture and nature of Amerongen. Various caches will be released during the event that match the theme. Consider locations such as the Amerongse Berg and Amerongen Castle.
This year, with the theater hall of Fietscafé de Proloog, we have a beautiful central location in Amerongen where we want to organize a fun day for everyone, both indoors (with various activities) and outside in the area (through the many geocaches)!
The idea is to have the Culture & Nature Event return annually at different locations, with of course Culture & Nature in the leading role!

What is there to do?
The lottery is at 4:30 PM
There will be a raffle at the end of the day. At the buying a ticket a lottery ticket is included. During the raffle, various fun geocaching products will be raffled off from, among others, the available geocaching shops. Specific time to be determined.
This takes place at 12:00
Halfway through the day we receive a visit from a reviewer. He or she then talks about his (volunteer) work and what he or she does for Dutch geocachers. There is also the opportunity to ask questions.
Tip: Check the webshop for times and tickets
Part of the culture of Amerongen is tobacco cultivation, which has been taking place there since around 1615. The tobacco cultivation museum shows the past of tobacco cultivation in Amerongen and the surrounding area. Specially for the CNE, guided tours are given in the tobacco cultivation museum. These last about 1 hour and tell you about the growth, drying and processing of tobacco.
If you have a buy a ticket in the webshop you will receive a booklet at the event containing the new geocaches in Amerongen and the surrounding area.
